Provide and manage all discipline and technical support for rig maintenance personnel throughout Turan’s operations.
Implement, control, review and maintain the reliability of the CMMS to a standard apposite for the management of maintenance in line with Turan WWS, BP Integrity management, API & all in country interface documentation with particular attention to SCE timings.
Carry out the required planned management visits to ensure Turan/Client agreed WWS audit structure is maintained, including but not restricted to minimum number of visits as indicated by Technical Integrity Manager (reference yearly appraisals)
Supervise equipment repair and procurement both on and offshore, including visits to the vendor facility to ensure that it is completed in a timely manner. Supervise relevant procurement procedures. This process should include compliance and recommendations from OEM guidelines and practices
Liaise with Drilling Operations (onshore & offshore) and designated Rig Manager to ensure maintenance activities are planned and coordinated effectively.
Carry out weekly and monthly audits of all Planned Maintenance Routines for all existing and new equipment within relevant Maintenance Management System.
Participate in department “On Call” duty rota set by Technical Integrity Manager.
Liaise directly with dedicated Asset BP RET Maintenance Specialist (as per separate guidelines / interface documents)
Accountable for ensuring that all material goods and equipment are correct and fit for purpose prior to shipment offshore. (Spreadsheet to be kept on SCE spares)
Carry out bi-weekly visits to the warehouse to ensure all material goods for their respective platforms are organized and dispatched in a timely basis.
Have direct input to the 5/10 yearly shutdown plans and engage with Shutdown Team as and when required. Including both Shutdown & Maintenance work scopes.
Directly responsible for ensuring the offshore maintenance teams are engaged in lateral learning and lessons learned bulletins.
Directly responsible for planning and control of all Critical Load Path Inspections /Mini Shutdowns on respective assets.
Directly accountable for the control and implementation of (in conjunction with the Shutdown team) all major 5/10 yearly shutdowns.

Participate and contribute to regular meetings held onshore both in Turan and Client offices.
Liaise with the Engineering Services provider to identify opportunities for sheltering upgrades or engineering projects during periods of planned maintenance and vice versa.
Liaise with the Inventory Management team with respect to stock reduction, spares management and fit for purpose safety critical or insurance spares.
Engage the onshore maintenance team and the Turan specialists in the event of a rig repair event extending more than 1-hour.
Ensure all applicable equipment on board has a relevant and in date certificate.
Carry out an annual Asset Integrity review.
Assist the Rig Manager to prepare for BP SO&R Audits to ensure that necessary information is available to complete the Audit process.

Recognized Maintenance Engineering qualification.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as Maintenance Supervisor Offshore.
Fluent written and spoken English language.
Experience of working with MH Wirth drilling equipment
Proven CMMS competence.
Knowledge of all API standards pertaining to maintenance practices
Fully computer literate, Microsoft office, word, excel etc.
Strategic thinker with ability to lead team or projects
Strong leadership, supervisory and communication skills
Proven planning and organizational experience whilst possessing good problem-solving skills.
