Knowledge of the travel industry and economic factors;
Develop awareness and reputation of the hotels in the local community;
Researching and developing sales opportunities, understanding consumer requirements, and identifying market trends, to achieve the companys sales goals;
Implementing new sales plans and advertising;
Direct and manage all group, transient, and banquet sales activities to maximize revenue for the hotel;
Develop rates, and group sales deployment strategies through a review of competitive data, and demand analysis;
Analyzing budgets, preparing annual budget plans, scheduling expenditures, and ensuring that the sales team meets their quotas and goals;
Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reports, annual goals, sales budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/required.
Maintaining relationships with important clients by making regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new opportunities.
Ability to effectively listen, communicate and perform diplomacy with internal and external customers and staff in all situations.

Bachelors degree in hospitality, business administration, or a related field.
Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the sales/marketing/hospitality profession;
Minimum five years of sales experience in the hotel industry;
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and property management systems;
Command of the English language both written and verbal;
