Monitoring build progress, overseeing cost and ensuring project quality
Overall coordination of Benchmarking, Current State Assessment, Gap Assessment, Recommendations, and Issue of Solution Roadmap Phases of PEI Program including interface with PEI Program Contractor
Coordination of PEI Program deliverables review and approval process
Coordination of PEI Program contract’s change orders review and approval process
Coordination of payments (invoices, acts of acceptance) to PEI Program Contractor
Partnering with Technical Services department and Process safety department, PEI leaders, Site Managers, and others to gather input for program design and support deployment
Timely assessment and reporting of Program solutions and overall project deliverables
Ensuring the schedule, budget and details of PEI Program are well organized
Act as the focal point of contact and communicate project status to all participants/stakeholders
Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures
Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder and project review meetings and workshops
Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
Ensuring project deadlines are met
Determining project changes
Ensuring project adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution
Meeting with contractor, stakeholders, and project manager to report on project progress
Liaising with contractor and building strong working relationships
Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage
Recommending changes to PEI Program that is ongoing if it appears not proceeding on schedule or is producing unsatisfactory results
Developing an alternate course of action for completing a job should the initial plan fail
Making presentations to business partners and company executives concerning different phases of a project
Evaluate feasibility of innovation / improvement projects
Facilitate events as required to accelerate the identified innovation / improvement projects

Bachelor’s Degree in technical/engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering
Member of engineering or project body/institute, i.e., IChemE, CEng, PE, etc. preferred
Minimum of 5 years progressive working experience of process engineering in operation environment (process plants: oil & gas, crude oil refining, gas chemical or petrochemical industry); experience in project environment is advantageous.
Practical knowledge of oil/gas, gas chemical, petrochemical, or refinery processes
Practical knowledge of project phase implementation
Practical knowledge of Operational Excellence KPIs Experience in the following PEI elements:
Process & Yield Optimization
Energy Efficiency
Hydrocarbon Loss Reduction
Master’s Degree in related or any technical field is preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is of advantage
Any other specific requirements
Ability to act as change agents and instill confidence to embrace change as well
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, to meet deadlines.
Results-driven and detail-oriented
Knowledge of computer operating systems and software such as MS Office (mandatory), P6/MS Project and Hysys Aspentech (preferred)
