To play role in the
smooth and efficient running of the Finance Department.
To be aware of all
cost in the Materials Department and to recommend measures to control
these.
To enforce all
operating and control procedures to ensure that receiving of the goods is
properly accounted for.
To enforce internal
control Policy and Procedure throughout the departments regarding
receiving.
To ensure that the
hotel expenses are minimized through the use of effective receiving of the
goods and services as instructed by the Materials Management
To assist in the
creation and the maintenance of certain computer data, for all items held
in the inventory.
To ensure that the
receiving area is kept clean and organized.
To liaise and organize
with Stewarding Department that the established cleaning schedules are
strictly adhered to
To issue repair and
maintenance job orders to ensure proper maintenance of the receiving area.
To carry out inventory of storeroom equipment monthly.

High School Diploma
or Technical School undergraduate diploma
1 to 2 years work
experience, preferably in hospitality field
Physically fit and
capable of receiving, storing, stocking inventory, maintain and distribute
inventory
Must have the
ability to work with a variety of people including truck drivers,
suppliers in person and on the telephone
