Serves as the
students' primary point of contact for queries relating to the academic
program, registration, academic probation, transfer options, leaves of
absences, add/drop and withdrawal, as well as services related to special
needs
Interprets and
explains ADA University policies and procedures to students
Closely work with
the Associate Dean to stay up to date on the BBA program and its changes
Helps students
recognize and achieve their educational goals by identifying the optimal
path to program completion
Follows through and
tracks the advancement of students and aid at-risk students by providing
appropriate recommendations
Meets with students
periodically to provide feedback and guidance toward successful completion
of the program
Case manages
students who do not meet ADA university requirements
Works with ADA
University's student records systems
Retrieves,
processes, and maintains student data in an up-to-date and accurate manner
Tracks and reports
on students' academic performance across different courses and levels
Provides advice
throughout the transfer, inbound and outbound exchange programs, selection
of courses, and the registration processes
Collaborates with
the Student academic support service and other relevant departments
Responds promptly
and accurately to other student inquiries
Performs other
duties as assigned by the Dean

Minimum
undergraduate degree, and experiential knowledge gained through training
or work. Work experience at educational/academic institutions is desirable;
Excellent customer
and personal service skills and ability to adapt to a diverse workforce
and student population;
Ability to convey
information effectively orally and in written in English and Azerbaijani
languages;
Proficiency in
using technology and software to perform clerical assignments and tasks
such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and
other documentation;
Ability to perform
basic analysis - to retrieve, organize and process data using spreadsheet
software to prepare various reports and evaluations;
Skills in planning,
organizing and implementing assigned tasks in an accurate and timely
manner;
Ability to present
materials effectively to individuals or groups;
Ability to work
well as a team member and actively to look for ways to help others;
Ability to learn
and adjust to change, understanding the implications of new information
for current and future decision-making
