Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, IT, or a related field;
• 1+ years of relevant experience in vendor management, distribution, sales, account management, business development, or a similar commercial role;
• Experience in the IT, technology, electronics, or distribution industry is highly preferred;
• Strong understanding of B2B distribution and channel-driven business models;
• Proven experience in commercial negotiations and managing business relationships with vendors or strategic partners;
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with the ability to work confidently with sales, margin, pricing, rebate, and forecast data;
• Ability to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and product positioning;
• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-management, and presentation skills;
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong reporting capabilities;
• Good command of English, both written and spoken, for communication and negotiations with international vendors;
• Fluent Azerbaijani and Russian;
• Strong ownership, initiative, and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
• Result-oriented approach with a clear focus on commercial outcomes.

• Practical knowledge of rebate, MDF, incentive, target, and vendor support programs;

• Strong understanding of networking, security, surveillance, or other IT product categories.

AEM Elektron MMC is looking for a commercially minded and results-oriented Vendor Manager to join our team and take responsibility for managing vendor relationships, optimizing commercial cooperation, and driving the growth of our technology brands in the Azerbaijani market.

The role combines vendor management, commercial negotiations, product portfolio development, channel management, and brand growth. The successful candidate will act as a key link between our company, global technology vendors, sales teams, and channel partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop strong, long-term relationships with key vendors and technology partners;
• Act as the primary commercial point of contact between AEM and assigned vendors;
• Lead negotiations related to pricing, rebates, incentives, credit terms, special pricing, marketing support, and other commercial conditions;
• Manage vendor targets, business plans, rebate programs, and commercial performance;
• Identify opportunities to improve vendor support, profitability, and overall commercial terms;
• Develop and execute business plans for assigned brands in line with company and vendor objectives;
• Drive the growth of assigned brands through effective sales and channel development initiatives;
• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Presales, Post-Sales, and other internal teams to ensure effective execution of vendor strategies;
• Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, resellers, system integrators, and other channel partners;
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, customer demand, and market opportunities;
• Support product portfolio planning and identify opportunities for introducing new products and product lines;
• Coordinate sales forecasts, demand planning, stock requirements, and purchasing priorities with relevant internal teams and vendors;
• Coordinate vendor trainings, promotional activities, product launches, and other market development initiatives;
• Monitor vendor and brand performance through sales, profitability, stock turnover, rebate achievement, and other relevant KPIs;
• Prepare regular business reviews and performance reports for management and vendors;
• Represent AEM's commercial interests in negotiations and strategic discussions with vendors;
