• We are currently recruiting a Senior Legal Counsel on behalf of our client. This role is ideal for an experienced legal professional with strong exposure to international law and complex project-based environments, particularly within infrastructure or energy sectors.

• Drafting and reviewing complex agreements, contracts, memoranda, and other legal documents
• Providing legal opinions on contractual, corporate, and commercial matters
• Supporting negotiations and advising on legal risks
• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations across company projects
• Participating in preparation of loan facility agreements and debt-related documentation
• Providing legal support to management and internal stakeholders
• Coordinating with internal and external legal counsels
• Monitoring legal aspects of ongoing projects and ensuring timely execution of obligations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLM is an advantage)
• Minimum 6 years of relevant legal experience
• Strong knowledge of English law and international legal frameworks
• Good knowledge of Azerbaijani legislation
• Proven experience drafting complex agreements (EPC, M&A, shareholders’ agreements, etc.)
• Experience in energy or renewable projects is a strong advantage
• Knowledge of Commercial, Corporate, Contract, and Energy Law
• Fluency in English and Azerbaijani
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
