About the Job:
Azroksan is seeking a skilled Composite Manufacturing and Process Engineer to support R&D and production projects by developing, verifying, and implementing composite materials and production technologies. The role involves designing processes, conducting material and process analyses, and ensuring mass production readiness while contributing to technology development and cost optimization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design processes for product development, analyze material, equipment, tool, and device needs, plan work with respect to technical, quality, time, and supply requirements, and conduct experimental and verification studies for final product implementation.
• Develop and monitor production technologies for composite materials during mass production periods and report findings.
• Identify critical material and process technologies, create development roadmaps, and ensure their implementation.
• Participate in product/production method qualification studies and technology assimilation activities for transferred production projects.
• Conduct error analysis, implement corrective procedures, and contribute to production technology improvement and cost reduction activities.
• Prepare and maintain production documents, instructions, specifications, Standard Operatoin Procedures (SOP), and inspection/control documents to ensure trouble-free production and compliance with design requirements.
• Determine direct/consumable material needs for projects, prepare technical specifications, and support the acquisition of necessary materials and equipment
• Conduct characterization studies for composite material properties required by design and analysis teams.
• Plan and carry out research, testing, and verification studies to develop alternative materials or supply sources for problematic composite materials.
• Support internal and external training activities in the field of expertise, and participate in relevant meetings, conferences, and proposal preparation activities.
• Supporting the Composite Production Unit Manager in planning the machine and personnel in line with the monthly production plans and the composite production process needs of the Production Engineering Department .
• Making weekly shift schedules based on production schedules, planning weekend work, making daily work schedules and following them up.
• To ensure and monitor that employees work in compliance with the occupational safety rules determined by the company and legal regulations.
• To monitor the implementation of maintenance plans made by the Machinery / Device Maintenance and Repair Unit for the benches, to make repair requests to the Machinery Device Maintenance and Repair Unit for faulty benches and equipment, to contribute within the scope of his/her authority by following the repair process, to act together with the Composite Production Unit Manager on matters beyond his/her authority.
• To determine the needs of consumables used in production, to perform stock controls and to request their supply, to follow up the demand and supply process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in composite materials, process development, and production technology in industrial or R&D environments.
• Strong knowledge of composite materials, production technologies, prototyping, verification, and qualification processes.
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and experience with project management.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
