Position Overview

• The Utilities Technician is responsible for the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of the company’s auxiliary facilities, including heating plants, energy centers, HVAC systems, compressors, water and wastewater systems, and related equipment. The role includes monitoring, preventive maintenance, functional testing, installation support, and coordination with authorized personnel to ensure uninterrupted operation and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the heating plant continuously via the automation system by certified boiler operators; activate backup systems when required.
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and testing of heating center equipment in accordance with manuals and procedures; report malfunctions and ensure all safety systems remain fully operational.
• Continuously monitor compressors, water tank levels, pump groups, wastewater treatment units, air conditioning and similar systems via automation systems and on-site inspections; stop equipment and activate backup systems when necessary and inform responsible personnel.
• Carry out monitoring and periodic maintenance of energy and power center equipment in line with procedures; upload maintenance records to the system.
• Perform inspection, maintenance, installation, and commissioning of energy lines, generators, transformers, and power center equipment within authorized scope or under supervision of certified HV (High Voltage) personnel.
• Support mechanical, electrical, and welding works required for installation and improvement of production equipment through appropriately qualified personnel; report failures to relevant departments.
• Conduct maintenance activities on electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems through authorized and qualified staff; ensure timely reporting of malfunctions.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation and periodic maintenance of generators, UPS systems, HVAC systems (AHUs, VRF), chillers, compressors, water tanks, wells, and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Perform functional tests, maintenance, and improvement works as defined in procedures; ensure continuous operation of energy centers and transmission lines.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety procedures, proper use of PPE, participation in trainings (OHS, Information Security, Energy Efficiency, Quality), documentation of all activities, and execution of tasks assigned by the supervisor in line with company interests.

• Vocational or higher education in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, HVAC, Energy Systems, or related technical field
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in auxiliary facilities, energy centers, or technical maintenance roles
• Practical knowledge of boilers, generators, HVAC, compressors, and energy distribution systems
• Certified in Boiler Operation, EKAT (High Voltage Electrical Equipment) or equivalent technical certifications is preferred
• Experience in preventive maintenance, equipment monitoring, and functional testing
• Knowledge of automation systems and industrial control monitoring
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, follow safety procedures, and perform systematic documentation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills
• Ability to work in a team and under supervision
• English – technical proficiency preferred
