Role Synopsis:

• The Surveyor is responsible for ensuring the precise measurement, layout, and positioning of construction elements on-site in line with project requirements. This key role involves setting out accurate site points, controlling the placement of buildings, columns, and walls, and overseeing compliance with design and construction specifications. The Surveyor works closely with the project team to maintain construction integrity, ensuring that all construction phases are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with the design plans.

Key Accountabilities:

Setting Out of Site Points Network and Measurement Taking:

• Establish and maintain the site’s points network, ensuring precise measurement and data capture for construction reference.

Ensure Correct Site Layout Design:

• Verify and control the site layout, ensuring that construction elements align with the architectural and engineering plans.

Correct Planning and Allocation of Building Positions:

• Ensure the proper positioning of building structures, taking into account project specifications and on-site conditions.

Correct Allocation of Building Projecting Centre Line:

• Allocate and mark the building’s center lines to ensure alignment with structural plans and project drawings.

Correct Allocation of Building Columns and Diaphragm Walls:

• Accurate position and monitor the placement of building columns and diaphragm walls in compliance with project drawings.

Control Over Vertical Casings Installation:

• Supervise the installation of vertical casings for columns and diaphragm walls, ensuring precision and alignment.

Control Over Building Floors Construction:

• Oversee and monitor floor construction, ensuring that all levels and elevations conform to the project design and specifications.

Collaboration with Project Teams:

• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other site personnel to ensure the effective execution of the project according to schedule and within budget.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain detailed records of survey data, adjustments, and any deviations from plans, providing regular reports to site management.
• Ensure Compliance with Health, Safety, and Quality Standards:
• Monitor and enforce adherence to site safety regulations, construction standards, and quality assurance procedures.

Desired background:
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant surveying experience, ideally in construction or large-scale building projects.

Track Record:

• Proven experience in site layout, setting out, and quality control during the construction phase.
• In-depth knowledge of surveying techniques and equipment, including total stations, GPS, and laser scanning.
• Strong ability to ensure the precision of measurements, site layout, and placement of structural elements.
• Ability to resolve issues on-site related to measurement or layout discrepancies.
• Proficiency in using surveying software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and data collection tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent in Azerbaijani, intermediate proficiency in English; knowledge of Russian is a plus..
