The company operating in the marine & construction industry is looking for an Accounting Intern. The main role of the Accounting Intern is to support the Finance Department in a wide range of accounting & financial operations-related tasks. 

Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Finance Department in various tasks, including:

•  Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, bookkeeping, and record maintenance.
• Help reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.
• Processing of invoices, credit or debit memos according to the company’s procedures.
• Support in performing various accounting and tax compliance duties.
• Assist with the timely and accurate calculation of wages and related taxes.
• Support for submission of statistical reports to the State Statistics Committee.
• Contribute to monthly, quarterly and yearly closing operations.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance.
• Working experience software Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel functions and tools.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani, with a minimum Pre-Intermediate level of English. 
• General knowledge of Tax and Labor legislation.
