Junior Business Analyst will be responsible for conducting research and data mining to gather relevant information supporting decision making processes in Group Corporate Banking and Insurance department. This role involves preparing periodic and ad-hoc reports and presentations related to banking and insurance sectors, as well as assisting Corporate Banking and Insurance Leads in their daily activities.

• Analyze industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights.
• Prepare periodic reports and presentations on the performance of banking and insurance strategic assets and the overall industry landscape.
• Create ad-hoc reports as required, summarizing key findings and insights for management and stakeholders.
• Assist senior colleagues in their day-to-day activities by providing analytical support and necessary information.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment on projects and initiatives.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and patterns that inform strategic decision-making.
• Utilize data visualization tools to present findings clearly and effectively.
• Communicate research findings and analytical insights to relevant stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
• Participate in meetings and discussions to provide input based on data analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in data collection and reporting methodologies.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis and reporting.
• Work closely with other departments, such as Finance, Risk Management, and Strategy, to support cross-functional initiatives.
• Contribute to team projects by providing insights and research to enhance overall outcomes.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of English and Azerbaijani languages, both written and spoken.
• Understanding of financial analysis concepts and methodologies.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• At least 1 year of experience in the banking or insurance sector, with a focus on data analysis or reporting.
• Experience in conducting research and preparing reports or presentations to support business decision-making.
