Sea Breeze Resort for the “Nikki Beach” project is looking for Cooks-Commis (Cold /Hot / Grill / Pastry)

Job’s period: 3 months (seasonal)

• Maintaining high standards of hygiene;
• Preparing the ingredients for a more senior chef;
• Measuring dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately;
• Dealing with deliveries and stock rotation;
• Basic understanding of the brand and the cookery;
• Service of food to assigned task standards;
• To sustain high presentation & correct positioning and cooking of food at all times with guidance from senior chefs;
• To maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and up keep of equipment;
• To ensure daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties are carried out as instructed by senior chefs;
• To contribute to the building of the team and efficient team spirit and an active interest in employee’s welfare, safety and development;
• To help and maintain a maximum yield in the kitchen in relation to the gross profit and wastage;
• Service of food to assigned task standards;
• To ensure the “mise en place” is performed to the high standard required at all times.

• Ability to communicate in Azerbaijani and English;
• Culinary Certificate or secondary education (11 grade completed);
• Culinary or professional cookery trainings and/or certified courses (desirable);
• Able to work within a team environment and to communicate effectively with all members of a team;
• 5 days per week shift graphic;
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays (essential).
