Facilitating Risk Assessments, Hazard Identification and JSEA’s
Assist with the developing and review of energy isolation procedures
Assist in advising employees on the requirements for the effective use of safety plans, procedures and guidelines
Maintain the injury and incident, observation records, reports, investigations, and statistical data, i.e., entering data into Intelex, submitting monthly reports, trending, and reporting statistical data
Investigate industrial accidents, injuries, or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventative measures.
Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
Inspect and audit facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation and management system compliance.
Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment.
Maintain local legal register, interface with local regulatory agencies as needed.
Advise and support operations on any other HSE-related queries

Qualifications Associate degree in Health, Safety, Environmental field.
NEBOSH certificate or any equivalent certification.
ISO 14001 & ISO45001 Internal Auditor certificate or equivalent.

7 -10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in oil and gas industry with offshore experience (preferably vessel operations).
Good working experience of providing HSE support to Vessel operations especially related to, energy isolation, suspended loads, pressure testing, confined space entry, working at height, hot work activities etc.
Working knowledge of the relevant regulations, decrees and laws related to health, safety, and environment
Working knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standard requirements
STCW valid certificate, very good command of English is required

Working Conditions
This position is considered OFFSHORE/ONSHORE WORK which is characterized as follows.
Working conditions infrequently involve some physical exertion, exposure to the elements or hazards inherent in the offshore environment
Almost exclusively indoors/outdoors during the day and occasionally at night.
Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace.
Work surface is stable (flat).
