Site engagement with supervisors and technicians to provide all necessary coaching mentoring on HSE related matters, attending and facilitating Toolbox Talks, Shift handover, Project HSE induction for project personnel.
Developing and/or providing inputs to development of Risk Assessments, Hazard Identification, JSEA’s, COSHH assessments, Rescue Plans, Management of Change requests on site
Assist with the development and review of energy isolation certificates, confirm all isolations on site are performed according to relevant Procedure.
Assist in advising employees on the requirements for the effective use of safety plans, procedures, and guidelines, ensure implementation of Project HSE requirements on the site.
Maintain the injury and incident data, observation records, reports, investigations, and statistical data, i.e., entering data into Intelex, submitting weekly / monthly reports, trending, and reporting statistical data.
Investigate all project-related accidents, injuries, spills or occupational diseases to determine causes and ensuring implementation of preventative measures.
Maintain and apply knowledge of current BP policies, local government regulations, and industrial processes.
Inspect and audit facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation and management system compliance.
Conduct or coordinate required training / awareness sessions, briefings, stand downs in areas such as working at height, energy isolation, permit to work, safe Lifting etc.
Maintain local regulatory register, interface with local regulatory agencies as needed.
Assist Site Management to perform emergency drills as per agreed Drill Matrix and record the findings in drill report form.
Perform PPE inspections on site and report all findings to relevant supervisor in completed form for rectification.
Record all findings, actions, gaps etc in Project Action Tracker and collaborate with relevant site management to close them out within the agreed timeline.
Advise and support operations on any other HSE-related queries, improvement opportunities.
Specific daily tasks:
Perform LSR Self-Verification / STOP for Supervision Audits on high hazard tasks during the shift.
Perform Permit to Work / Risk Assessment/ JSEA audit on site activities during the shift with special focus kept on high hazard tasks.
Perform Hazard Hunt / Site Leadership Walkaround during a week and report all findings in written report form to relevant management for follow up
Record all incidents, observation cards, STOP Audits daily in ILX portal, if not practical, then in local registers for further reference and follow up on actions raised
Organize and assist with performing Welfare Inspection, Hygiene inspection weekly together with site medic to verify the compliance to the project requirements and report the findings in relevant forms to Project HSE Manager and Site Manager

7-8 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in oil and gas industry with offshore experience (preferably vessel operations).
Good working experience of providing HSE support to Vessel operations especially related to, energy isolation, suspended loads, pressure testing, confined space entry, working at height, hot work activities etc.
Working knowledge of the relevant regulations, decrees and laws related to health, safety, and environment.
Working knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standard requirements
STCW, BOSIET / FOET valid certificate, very good command of English is required.
