Perform the validation activities for significant models developed in Strategic Assets;
Contribute to the creation of high-quality model validation reports;
Collaboration with Model Risk Management teams in the Group;
Consult SAs for better modelling results with recommendations from the validation process;
Collaboration with model owners/developers in SAs;
Independent evaluation of new and existing strategic models;
Assessment of changes to existing models;
Assist with the delivery of the validation plan in a timely and efficient manner;
Qualitative review of model development process including underlying assumptions & theoretical basis;
Quantitative assessment of model performance via statistical testing;
Contribute to the documentation of findings and communication of results;
Interpret model validation results, support to establishment of required action plans with model owners/developers and provide value-added recommendations to model owners/developers;
Perform the ratification of validated strategic models in the Group-wide model inventory;
Contribute to enhancement of validation process for models across the Group;
Keep track of new developments in model validation and applicable regulation;
Contribute to the continuous improvement of methodologies, standards and automation;
Follow-up and formulation of recommendations to improve the different model performances;
Writing detailed validation reports, including a model risk assessment and a description of the validation findings;
Contribute to the coordination with internal/external stakeholders on model issues, achieving suitable resolutions;

Bachelor or Master’s degree in related field;
At least 3 years of work experience with 1 year of relevant to the function;
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Programming Languages (hands-on experience in R and/or Python, SQL);
Good knowledge of modelling and model validation;
Experience in model validation or model risk management;
Advanced product and market knowledge;
Function specific certification is an advantage;
