Your primary responsibilities will include: Understanding and applying the knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
Understanding and applying the knowledge of International Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards (IAS and IFRS)
Leading audits and reviewing audit work performed by junior staff
Performing more complex sections assigned and preparation of audit work papers
Effectively communicating with the client personnel and engagement team
Assisting senior in-charge and / or manager on different client and engagement matters
Allocating work in accordance with audit qualification levels to ensure the due performance of an engagement
Informing seniors in-charge, managers and partners in due time of audit results. In the event of audit-related issues, making suggestions to resolve them in accordance with Bakertilly requirements
Preparing audit engagement deliverables in accordance with Bakertilly policies and procedures, indicating all weaknesses discovered during the work process and making suggestions to management to address them

A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
ACCA qualification (F1, F2, F3) and F7, F8
Fluent written and spoken in Azerbaijani and English, knowledge of Russian is an asset
Good knowledge of accounting
Proficiency in using office applications: (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, Outlook)
Minimum 3 (three) years of relevant experience in the audit practice
Experience in supervising, planning, execution and reporting on audits of financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS
