Technical support: Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues faced by students, teachers, and staff. Respond to support requests in a timely manner, resolve issues efficiently, and escalate complex problems to the appropriate teams if necessary.
Hardware setup and maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Perform hardware upgrades, repairs, and replacements as needed to ensure optimal performance and minimal disruption to users.
Classroom technology support: Set up and maintain classroom technology equipment, such as interactive whiteboards, projectors, and audio-visual systems. Provide support and training to teachers and staff in the effective use of educational technology resources.
IT inventory management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment, including computers, peripherals and other technology assets. Coordinate with head of department to ensure timely replacements, upgrades, or repairs.
Documentation and reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of support activities, including support tickets, inventory, and maintenance logs. Generate reports on support activities, system performance, and equipment status as required.
User training and education: Provide training and guidance to students, teachers, and staff on the effective and safe use of technology resources.

Prior experience in an IT support role, preferably in an educational environment.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, classroom technology.
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
Familiarity with operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS) and educational software.
Basic understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, and network troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to provide support and collaborate with users of diverse backgrounds.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced school environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service to students, teachers, and staff.
