Technical support: Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues faced by students, teachers, and staff. Respond to support requests in a timely manner, resolve issues efficiently, and escalate complex problems to the appropriate teams if necessary.
Hardware setup and maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Perform hardware upgrades, repairs, and replacements as needed to ensure optimal performance and minimal disruption to users.
Classroom technology support: Set up and maintain classroom technology equipment, such as interactive whiteboards, projectors, and audio-visual systems. Provide support and training to teachers and staff in the effective use of educational technology resources.
IT inventory management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment, including computers, peripherals and other technology assets. Coordinate with head of department to ensure timely replacements, upgrades, or repairs.
Documentation and reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of support activities, including support tickets, inventory, and maintenance logs. Generate reports on support activities, system performance, and equipment status as required.
User training and education: Provide training and guidance to students, teachers, and staff on the effective and safe use of technology resources.
