Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs, including those with dyslexia, dyspraxia, hearing impairment, emotional and social difficulties, and speech and language difficulties.
Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and growth.
Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students.
Collaborate with other educators, specialists, and parents to develop effective support strategies.
Monitor and assess students' progress, providing timely feedback and adjusting instruction as needed.
Conduct assessments and provide support in identifying students' specific learning difficulties, such as hearing impairment, emotional and social difficulties, and speech and language difficulties.
Stay updated on the latest research, best practices, and legislative changes related to special educational needs.

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (a Master's degree in Special Education is preferred).
Relevant certifications in Special Education or SEN teaching.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the field of SEN education.
In-depth knowledge of special needs, including dyslexia, dyspraxia, hearing impairment, emotional and social difficulties, and speech and language difficulties.
Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is essential.
Experience in an IB or international school setting is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
