The Junior Data Analyst provides practical, meaningful and actionable insights to the business, and leverage available techonology to identify customer needs, trends and patterns that will influence business decisions and will improve the customer experience, growth customer base and Company’s profitability.  

The success of the Junior Data Analyst will be measured by the ability to provide high quality data analysis that guide sound business changes and provide leadership with accurate data and customer insights in a clear and practical manner.

Accountabilities:

• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques;
• Develop and implement data bases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality;
• Improve business and financial Dash board.
• Maintain current reports and create new reports;
• Make suggestions for improving data collection and analysis;
• Doing ad-hoc analysis and visualize results in a clear manner;
• Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions;
• Ability and willingness to undertake other tasks assigned by the Management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or Information Management.
• Knowledge of Statistics. Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.

• Experience using analytical tools like Tableau, R, Python, SAS, WPS, SQL for data analysis and statistical techniques;
• Knowledge of MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Outlook);
• 1-2 years experience working preferably with Micro Finance, Banks, Mobile Network Operators or other financial services would be advantageous.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy;
• Accuracy, attention to detail and reliability;
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills;
• Able to manage simultaneously multiple projects involving various stakeholders and to deliver results within deadlines.
• Highly collaborative with team members and able to learn quickly

Language Skills:

• Azerbaijani and English required, Russian would be advantageous.
